I am a life-long Alaskan who enjoys creating visual works to make the heart beat a little faster. I developed Burnside Designs in October 2001 as a way to use my creative talents on a broader scale than what I was offered in my daily work tasks. I wanted to learn as much as possible about all the local industries and how design can be an effective part of any business. I have worked in an assortment of environments from industrial construction to yoga studios.  I find it exciting to develop a stronger understanding of how Alaska works and to meet the people who make it happen.
